The first week of 2024 is expected to be cool and sunny, with lows around the 20s and 30s and highs in the 40s.

However, we could see showers and snow flurries: there's a slight chance of snow on New Year's Day at 30%, and there's an 80% chance of snow again Saturday night.

Temperatures on New Year's Day will reach 44 degrees and drop to around 30 degrees. There is a 30% chance of scattered rain and snow before 8 p.m., but the snow forecast should not reach an inch in the Baltimore metro area, according to the National Weather Service.

The Meteorological Authority expects the maximum temperature on Tuesday to reach 45 degrees and the minimum temperature to reach about 27 degrees. The weather is also expected to be windy with gusts up to 22 mph.

Wednesday is expected to be the hottest day of the week, with a high of around 48 degrees and a low of around 31 degrees.

The National Weather Service expects the weather on Thursday to be breezy, with temperatures reaching 45 degrees and dropping to 23 degrees.

Likewise, Friday's high will be 43 degrees and the low will be around 24 degrees.

On Saturday, 60% of the rain and snow will fall during the day, with temperatures reaching only 39 degrees. At night, the chances of rain and snow will rise to 80% when temperatures reach lows of around 31.

On Sunday, the percentage of rain and snow is expected to reach 40%, with the maximum temperature reaching 42.
