Members of the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) who were fed up with Trump-hating fascist District Attorney Letitia James during a recent promotion ceremony now face dire consequences.
The Gateway Pundit first reported the incident as a wave of boos and cheers in support of President Trump overshadowed the event.
A large group of firefighters made their position quite clear during a Fire Department of New York (FDNY) roadshow on Thursday regarding James' questioning of President Trump.
After being honored by FDNY Commissioner Laura Kavanaugh, James' speech was effectively overshadowed by loud pro-Trump chants in the crowd. She struggles a little to find her words amid the commotion.
You can also hear some booing and heckling from the audience as well in the video.

As she began her speech, many in the audience loudly booed James. The agitated public prosecutor responded to the dissidents by saying, “Come on, we are in the house of God… boil over a low flame,” according to Newsweek magazine.
James should look in the mirror and take her own advice. Her treatment of Trump certainly does not meet God's approval.
In response to the incident, FDNY Commissioner Laura Kavanagh launched a manhunt for those responsible for the explosion. FDNY Division Chief John Hodges sent an email to department leadership, stating that the Bureau of Investigation and Trials (BITS) would conduct an investigation into the matter.
He urged participants to come forward voluntarily, hinting that the consequences would be less severe for those who did not wait to be “hounded.”
“BITS is investigating this matter so they can find out who the members are. I recommend that they come forward. The commissioner told me it would be better for them to come forward and we won’t have to chase them.
“The DC should direct the company commander to prepare a list of names of people who come forward and send it directly to John and Kevin in operations. He added: “I realize members may not come forward but they should know that there is clear video of the entire incident and they will be contacted by BITS if they do not.” “.
Internal communications from firefighter unions, including the Uniformed Fire Officers Association (UFOA), circulated memos condemning the behavior, the New York Post reported.
The news agency reported:
The Uniformed Fire Officers Association sent a letter to its members Saturday warning them of the directive and that the department “possesses video footage of the event.”
“As part of this discussion, specific UFOA members may be asked questions about their actions or memories,” the letter said.
The union advised members to follow FDNY regulations but to contact UFOA for legal representation if they feel they are the subject of an investigation.
The memo stated:
- I'm here to address the behavior of the firefighters who attended Thursday's show.
- The behavior we saw and heard was completely inappropriate
- Protesting, harassing or booing anyone at a party is simply unacceptable.
- This was a promotion ceremony to honor the members who made sacrifices and worked hard to achieve this day. They had family and close friends there to celebrate with them.
- Certainly no one should be subjected to what happened based on the political beliefs of some members.
- It was disrespectful to the speakers, the promoted members and their families
- This was not a political event and Letitia James was not there to give a political speech.
- She was there to support her friend and our new chaplain, Pamela Holmes. Pamela invited her friend to attend the party.
- Members have the right to political beliefs. But you have no right to make a job-related party political in nature.
- When you're not on duty, feel whatever you want about politicians. vote. He objects. This is your right. But don't do it on work time, other members' time, or their family's time. Do it on your own time.
- Our actions during the promotion damaged the relationship with the Attorney General and the Christian Cultural Center. We may lose this place now.
- Regardless of politics, the Attorney General is a friend of the UFA and UFOA and a supporter of our administration. She has come to the hospital on more than one occasion to support us when one of our members has been seriously injured or died.
- These actions reflected very poorly on us and diminished the dignity of the occasion.
- Instead of news reports talking about the achievements of our members, they talked about politics and our bad behavior.
- Everyone should be better. Do the right thing. Even if you are not the person behaving badly, if you see a fellow firefighter behaving this way, stop it.
- Behave in a manner befitting the attire you are wearing. Anything less should not be tolerated.
Next steps:
- Have the DC visit each firehouse to which a member has been promoted
- Relay a bulleted message
- They should understand that BITS is collecting videos and identifying members who have brought disrepute to the administration
- We want members to come forward. They will come to headquarters to learn why their behavior is unacceptable.
It seems freedom of speech isn't allowed for FDNY firefighters anymore.
