Whoopi Goldberg, who has long been one of the most obsessive anti-Donald Trump people in mainstream media, launched another tense attack on the former president on Tuesday, this time referring to him as “that idiot.”
Goldberg attacks Trump
When The View returned from vacation on Tuesday, Goldberg offered her thoughts on the presidential ballot controversy in Colorado and Maine, expressing her shock that Trump intends to appeal the controversial rulings to keep him off the ballot all the way until the presidential election. Supreme Court of the United States.
“None of this would have happened if he had allowed the people to decide who they wanted to be president,” Goldberg said. “He didn't like that. He didn't want that. Now all of a sudden they care about the law. Where was everyone? Did I just wake up and say, 'Oh fuck?!'
“They say it's up to the US Supreme Court to decide whether the Constitution actually prevents him from running, even though the Constitution says: 'Listen, if you do this kind of thing, you can't run,'” she continued. “But it seems like it should We always have to check back on this idiot. Every time he did something, they said, well, they didn't mean it.
Goldberg conveniently ignored the fact that Trump was not only never convicted of “insurrection,” he was never charged with it.
However, Goldberg's co-host Sarah Haines disagreed with her that Trump's name should be kept off the ballot.
“What will happen is citation will be another step,” Haines said. “We have a nation that does not believe in democracy, that does not believe in voting. Everyone who loses says it was rigged and failed. I think this will create an image for people that this is a rigged election.”
Co-host Alyssa Farrah Griffin, who previously worked in the Trump administration but has since turned against the former president, believes he should be on the ballot.
Farrah Griffin explained, “A third of Americans do not believe that the recent elections were legitimate, even though they were.” “I fear here that for the first time they will be able to say: I voted for Donald Trump, but the regime canceled it.” Then it will actually be true.

Goldberg's previous anti-Trump statements
Goldberg enjoys ranting against Trump on a daily basis on “The View.” In November, she claimed America would get what it deserves if Trump was re-elected because that would mean “we weren't high enough.”
“Listen, if he gets re-elected, we deserve what we got,” Goldberg said, according to the Daily Mail. “If we get him back on the field, if he comes back, we deserve what we get.”
She added: “It meant that we were not high enough or strong enough or that our constitution was not strong enough to keep this absurdity out.”

Goldberg wants to amend the constitution
In June of last year, Goldberg called for adding an amendment to the Constitution that would prevent Trump from assuming the presidency in prison.
“What's really starting to scare me is the idea that we're not even discussing changing the Constitution to make it say you can't be in prison while you're president,” Goldberg said. “I'm a big fan of the amendments. I feel like unless we start plugging these holes, this is going to continue to bite us in the back. It's really going to take people saying, 'Hey, listen, if I can't vote when I get out of prison, why can you?' You become president.”
“I think the fact that we have this situation now, you know, who's there to tell us, 'Hey, you all have a problem' and those kinds of things are going to start coming out because these kinds of people, she continued, 'people who don't read the Constitution, who don't know The law, not knowing how this country is run, is now starting to come in. “The amendment will change the way we deal with people who come in this way.”
It's clear that even three years after Trump left office, Goldberg remains hopelessly infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome. She can scream against Trump all she wants, but in the end, her hatred for him will do nothing to hurt his chances when it comes to the presidential election this year.
