California rings in the new year with a slew of new left-wing laws, none of which will help the beleaguered state recover from a steady decline in the standard of living. Perhaps the most ridiculous law of all is one that forces stores with more than a certain staff limit to have “gender-neutral” toy aisles.
This law is one of many gestures taken by the progressive state to bend its knees to the cult of gender ideology that has been actively trying to dismantle entrenched societal norms under the gimmick of “diversity” and “inclusion.” This law, promoted as a way to empower “kids to be kids,” will do no such thing.
Let kids be kids
California stores will be fined up to $500 this year if they do not provide a “gender-neutral” toy section for children 12 and under.
The legislation claims that:
“Keeping similar items that are traditionally marketed either to girls or boys separate makes it difficult for the consumer to compare products and incorrectly indicates that their use by one gender is inappropriate.”
Let's make sure we get this straight. The legislation implies that the average consumer, who is assumed to be mostly parents, cannot compare products from aisle to aisle or know which toys are for boys.
It should be like these people Permissible To care for dependent humans? Since the law only applies to large stores, so do they say people who shop in small stores We are Smart enough?
In addition, the California Legislature believes that the average parental consumer is too weak to make his own decisions in the face of marketing pressures. The author of this book, California Democrat Evan Low, says:
“We need to stop stigmatizing what is acceptable for certain genders and let kids be kids.”

This is an interesting argument coming from someone who doesn't have children.
Mr. Low continues:
“I hope this bill encourages more businesses across California and the United States to avoid reinforcing harmful and outdated stereotypes.”
Let's dig deeper into this idea for the spell.
Harmful and outdated?
I am a mother of two children: a seven-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy. I'll admit that I'm not a parenting expert; No one is an expert on parenting — except perhaps Watts, who has put three kids through the NFL.
Jokes aside, I can tell you that kids will always be kids, no matter what you try to do to direct them in any particular way. My daughter loves dresses and dolls as much as she loves GI Joe and her remote controlled cars.
My son loves to wrestle and play with his Hot Wheels cars, and on the same day, he will play with his sister's dolls and never give up a cuddle at the end of the day. It's not harmful to market Barbie dolls to girls and GI Joe figures to boys, nor does it reinforce a negative stereotype.
The children will play with whatever they want and in my home which is often an empty box or punching bag, they find their personalities and interests are fine without much interference from society or parents. Furthermore, I can't remember when I bought toys for my kids in a physical store.

Maybe I'm a millennial, but I do most of my shopping online, where there are no “girl” and “boy” aisles. Mr Low allegedly got the idea for this bill after an eight-year-old girl told him:
“Why should a store tell me what a girl's shirt or toy is?”
Not only do I not buy this fictional story, but if it's true, the correct response to this young lady should have been that the store doesn't tell you anything. Clothes are literally made differently because girls' and boys' bodies are not the same.
The easy way out
This law demonstrates the utter laziness of California legislators and is a true indicator throughout the United States. California is currently experiencing a 9.13% increase in violent crimes.
Three-quarters of California students lack proficiency in all core subjects in school. Instead of addressing a real crisis that negatively impacts real Californians, it is easier for lawmakers like Mr. Law and Governor Newsom to claim big gains for children and minorities by passing laws like this brutal, gender-neutral game.
Instead of focusing on the lessons learned last year from Dylan Mulvaney's backlash and Bud Light and Target's campaign with “flexible” swimsuits for kids, California lawmakers are redoubling their efforts to focus on gender ideology. Will California voters get smart and vote these special interest puppets out of office?
It doesn't seem so. Instead, they are abandoning the country in droves, moving to locations with less crime and an easier lifestyle.
Let's hope they don't bring with them the progressive ideologies that destroyed their home state.
