Jim Harbaugh's future at Michigan has been a big point of discussion over the past few months, as rumors swirl that the longtime Wolverines HC will venture into the NFL next season.

Of course, there is nothing official in this area yet. In case you haven't noticed, Harbaugh is a little busy with his current job. The Michigan Wolverines made a big statement on Monday night by defeating Alabama 27-20 in overtime at the Rose Bowl in California.

When asked after the game what his future would be like, Harbaugh gave a truly perfect answer. It all consists of a happy trip back to Ann Arbor to prepare for the national title game.

The Wolverines may be the No. 1 team in the country, but many expected Alabama to join them. However, the Wolverines asserted their status as the No. 1 team in the country with a hard-fought, gritty win despite some tough special teams play that nearly cost them dearly.

Michigan will face the winner of the Sugar Bowl — Texas or Washington — next weekend for the national title.
