The National Park Service has announced that it will remove the statue of William Penn from Welcome Park in Philadelphia, which is located in his birthplace.
This is part of the administration's “rehabilitation” project that is designed to be more “inclusive” and include Native American history. Not to mention the fact that Pennsylvania is named after William Penn.
In 1682, William Penn arrived on the ship named “Hello,” after which the park was named. The park was founded 300 years after the arrival of William Penn.

The National Park Service announced it will remove the statue of William Penn from a Philadelphia park commemorating his founding of the state of Pennsylvania, which is located in his former home.
The “rehabilitation” proposal for Welcome Park aims to “provide a more welcoming, accurate and inclusive visitor experience,” the NPS said in a news release. It “includes an expanded interpretation of Philadelphia's Native American history,” and was developed in collaboration with representatives from the Haudenosaunee Tribe, the Delaware Nation, the Delaware Tribe of Indians, the Shawnee Tribe, and the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma.
The park is named after the ship “Hello” that Penn took to Philadelphia in 1682. The park was established 300 years later.
The removal of the statue was criticized on Twitter.

The reality is that this is just another part of history that the Biden regime is trying to erase. They are using the National Park Service to advance their agenda.
This is not the first time leftists in our country have removed statues from public places.
TGP reported last month that the Confederate Reconciliation Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery had been removed.
It's not hard to see.
