In an unsurprising forecast from one of Wall Street's leading financial institutions, a senior strategist at JP Morgan predicted that Joe Biden may withdraw from the upcoming presidential race, due to concerns about his health.
Strategist Michael Cymbalist, head of market and investment strategy at JPMorgan Asset Management, made the prediction in his annual outlook report, which covers a wide range of topics including the state of the US economy, market trends and global risks.
Among the surprises, Kimbalist predicts the following “10 most important surprises of 2024”:
- The US dollar remains stable
- The DOJ/FTC won a major antitrust case.
- President Biden withdraws sometime between Super Tuesday and the November election, citing his health the reasons. Biden is passing the torch to a replacement nominee appointed by the Democratic National Committee.
- The driverless car backlash is coming.
- Syndicated loan losses rose broadly above private credit losses for the first time.
- Argentine dollarization will fail if implemented.
- The Russian invasion of Ukraine continues without a ceasefire in 2024.
- Despite storm clouds hanging over US regional banks, their stocks will do well in 2024 as prices stabilize or rise Rate the book.
- Due to the retirement of dispatchable power generation (nuclear, coal and gas) and lack of investment in pipelines, Gas Storage and Winterization Major U.S. cities will experience power outages and/or natural gas outages (which will cause power outages). It's much worse.)
- Researchers will continue work on an inhaled coronavirus vaccine that will significantly reduce transmission.
According to Cymbalist, Biden's low approval rating for a president who has created jobs by roughly 10% since his inauguration is a byproduct of his inauguration coinciding with the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines and the reopening of the U.S. economy.
Sembalist notes that Biden's health may be a factor in his low approval ratings, and that he may withdraw from the race sometime between Super Tuesday and the November election.
Simbalist's prediction is based on the process of replacing candidates during the primary season or before/after the general election, which he explains in detail in his report. It is suggested that the Democratic National Committee nominate a replacement nominee if Biden withdraws from the race.
In 2021, the former White House physician to Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, and current Texas Representative Ronnie Jackson, posted an honest assessment of Joe Biden's physical and mental condition on Twitter.
Representative Ronnie Jackson: “I served as White House physician under three presidents. I have seen what it takes physically and mentally to do this job. I can tell you now that the way Biden is hiding from the public is a huge red flag. Something is not right!”

Democrats and their media will then insist that the Biden crime story is “yesterday’s news” and has “already been prosecuted.” The American public will be lectured on what a great leader Joe Biden was and how he should be honored forever in our memories and history books.
The Republican leadership and members of the same party will breathe a sigh of relief that they will not have to go through impeachment proceedings. They will tell us: “This is not who we are.”
