October 18 Bitfinex Securities expands investors' access to certified assets

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 18, 2023 – Bitfinex Securities Ltd, which provides listing and trading services for security tokens, is pleased to announce that it is expanding access to approved-only investments to a wider range of investors.
Traditionally, approved investments were only limited to corporate investors or individual investors able to make an investment of at least US$100,000 in a particular asset. However, Bitfinex Securities has received regulatory approval to redefine the scope of accredited investors, expanding it to include individuals who qualify as professional investors.
Professional investors are individuals who have at least $100,000 in liquid assets and have two or more years of relevant business experience.

Accredited investors with professional investor status can now actively participate in secondary market trading and maintain their positions in any approved offering.
This newfound flexibility also allows them to engage in trading even at minimum tradable units.
This development enables investors to access a wider range of investment products, engage in smaller trade sizes, invest in smaller size positions, and engage in trading and investing activities with reduced volume restrictions across approved assets.
