big success
Now, I know what you're thinking and let me stop you right there. Before you get to my case about going after the low-hanging fruit in the form of Keith Olbermann, hear me out.
Sometimes a guy says something so blatantly stupid that it simply has to be addressed. Clearly I wasn't the only one who felt this way.
Olbermann was given a subtle new nickname by podcast host Joe Rogan after the former ESPN personality, who has never played a sport of any kind, criticized Riley Gaines for being a bad swimmer.
“Can you just process reality and get past it?” Olbermann has written about X previously. “I sucked at swimming. That's why I lost.”
However, she did not lose.
Gaines, a former NCAA swimming star at Kentucky, previously told the story of how she was linked to her biological male opponent, Leah Thomas, and then watched officials award the trophy to Thomas “for photographic purposes.”

Rogan criticizes “crazy” Olbermann.
This is where Olbermann's double whammy comes in. It started with community feedback that Gaines is a fairly accomplished former NCAA swimmer.
“Riley Gaines holds several current records at the collegiate swimming level, and has won SEC awards as well,” the fact-check said.
It ties into her resume at Kentucky, which lists a plethora of academic and athletic accomplishments.
Olbermann followed that up with his usual calm demeanor, accusing Gaines of “transphobia” and randomly suggesting that former President Donald Trump would “go to hell.”
Rogan addressed Olbermann's comments in a recent broadcast.
“Keith Olbermann said some crap about her not having any athletic accomplishments. So she made a video in response showing all the awards she's won,” Rogan said. “She's like a serious, accomplished athlete. She's an amazing athlete.”
“But for this lunatic to say that…” Rogan continued, turning away in amazement at Olbermann's foolishness.

Olbermann is a failed sportscaster who was never an athlete
The irony here is that Olbermann argues that Gaines should sit back and shut up because she wasn't good enough at swimming. Meanwhile, Olbermann has never played any sports in his life.
Not only did he have no athletic experience, but the man was so uncoordinated that he once tried to jump into a subway car, hit his head, and rendered himself unable to drive for the rest of his life.
Which Dude calls out Gaines' athletic ability.
There's no footage of Olbermann doing this, but he documented it himself and I imagine it looks like this:
Olbermann has been reduced to providing sports and political commentary on X, formerly known as Twitter, because he is out of work elsewhere. He's burned so many bridges throughout his career that he's now nothing more than a troll who stalks younger, more accomplished women online.
When he's not getting beat up by Gaines or Rogan, the others like to slap him every now and then. One example is Megyn Kelly, who recently joked that her job situation was different from his because she “wanted to raise my family,” adding that “that's something (Olbermann doesn't know) because no one will marry you.”
