Former President Bill Clinton, according to multiple reports, will be identified as “John Doe 36” and is mentioned more than 50 times in documents set to be released this week related to notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
ABC News was the first to report that Clinton would be named, but warned that “there is no indication that the sealed records contain evidence of illegal conduct” by the former president.
The files, which are scheduled to be released in the coming days, are expected to include the names of nearly 200 individuals — some linked to the late sex offender and others not, as well as other information related to Epstein's criminal activities.
A federal judge in Manhattan ordered the release of documents related to a since-settled defamation lawsuit filed by Epstein's accuser, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, in 2015. Giuffre brought the suit against Epstein's mistress, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently imprisoned for the crimes. .

Bill Clinton is set to be exposed in Jeffrey Epstein documents dump
According to ABC News, Clinton was identified as “Doe 36” in the redacted recordings. It was mentioned in connection with attempts by Giuffre's legal team to subpoena him to testify regarding his relationship with Epstein.
It is important to note that the documents do not accuse Clinton of any illegal activity, according to initial reports. Maxwell's legal team argued that Giuffre's claim was fabricated.
Giuffre claimed while filing the lawsuit that she met the former president on Epstein's private island in the Caribbean.
Clinton's office responded to news of the former president being named dozens of times in the new Epstein documents repository by referring the Washington Examiner to a 2019 statement insisting he “was never accused of any wrongdoing.”
The statement at the time acknowledged that Bill Clinton traveled with Jeffrey Epstein on four occasions, but knew “nothing about the horrific crimes” he committed.
Epstein was convicted of procuring a girl under 18 for prostitution in 2008, and was facing sex trafficking charges until he died, according to authorities, by suicide, in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019.
In addition to the four acknowledged trips, Clinton traveled on Epstein's private plane — the “Lolita Express” — 26 separate times, according to a Fox News analysis. Further analyzes of flight records led to claims of fewer flights, but it cannot be denied that he traveled on the plane.
Doug Band, a former top Clinton aide, made shocking claims in a 2020 interview with Vanity Fair, including claims that the former president took a trip in 2003 to Epstein's famous private island.
Band is among those whose links to Epstein are set to be revealed in the new tranche of documents. His name appears in six files, according to the Daily Mail.
White House records obtained by the Daily Mail show that not only did Clinton visit Epstein, but the convicted sex offender also went to him.
Records show that Epstein visited the White House at least 17 times between 1993 and 1995. During those visits, Epstein brought a total of eight women with him, according to the report.

Tucker Carlson raises controversy again over Epstein's death
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has reignited speculation about Jeffrey Epstein's death, suggesting he may have been murdered in his prison cell.
In a recent interview with former President Donald Trump, Carlson questioned the circumstances surrounding Epstein's death and the subsequent investigation.
He also released a video of Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein's brother, trying to obtain a pre-hospital care report from the night of his brother's death.
“The United States government claims that Jeffrey Epstein killed himself in a federal detention center in Manhattan four and a half years ago, just before his trial,” Carlson wrote on
Carlson previously claimed in the interview with Trump that despite the official ruling that Epstein committed suicide in his prison cell, he was “murdered.”
Readers will remember that all the guards in charge of his cell “fell asleep” at exactly the right moment, and that the cameras monitoring his cell also all failed at a time when they failed to record anything.
Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), in an interview several days ago, claimed that members of Congress were “compromised” by not providing public information about Epstein.
Burchett also suggested that “someone in authority” killed Epstein because of his ties to Bill Clinton, whom he referred to as a “moron.”
“So you're saying that now…there are members of Congress who were compromised either by special interests or the intelligence community for not giving the American public information about Jeffrey Epstein?” Burchett was asked.
“I think so,” he replied. “one hundred percent.”
In addition to Clinton, the release of the Jeffrey Epstein document will likely reveal the names of several other alleged associates and conspirators.
While it is difficult to predict exactly who will be named, some of the individuals mentioned in connection with Epstein in the past include politicians, business leaders and celebrities, and not all of those named are child molesters or guilty of any crime.
He confronted Microsoft founder Bill Gates about his relationship with Epstein during a PBS interview in 2021. Gates responded that he “had dinner with him” and that “those meetings were a mistake.”
Prince Andrew has also been the subject of allegations, forcing him to settle with an alleged sexual assault victim.
