Bill Clinton's office has responded to reports that the former president will be named in Jeffrey Epstein's court documents set to be unsealed this week.
“Hundreds of sealed court files relating to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein are set to be released this week, and several high-profile names – including Britain’s Prince Andrew and former President Bill Clinton – are expected to appear in the documents. ABC News reported.
According to ABC News, Bill Clinton was named “Doe 36” in “more than fifty redacted files.”
“Former President Clinton, who ABC News has learned has been identified as 'Doe 36,' is mentioned in more than fifty of the redacted filings, according to court records. Many of those sealed or redacted entries focus on efforts made by Giuffre's lawyers in mid-2016 , which was first reported by ABC News, to subpoena the two-term Democratic president to testify about his relationship with Epstein, the outlet reported.
“Clinton’s office did not issue a new response to the disclosure of the documents and referred the Washington Examiner to a 2019 statement about his relationship with Epstein from Clinton spokesman Angel Urena.” As reported by the Washington Examiner.
For each examiner:
Clinton's office also asserted that “President Clinton was never accused of any wrongdoing” in connection with Epstein's crimes and that the former president “did not object to the disclosure.”
“President Clinton knows nothing about the horrific crimes that Jeffrey Epstein admitted to committing in Florida several years ago, or that he was recently accused of committing in New York. In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton made four trips on Jeffrey Epstein’s plane: one to Europe, one To Asia, and two to Africa, which included stops related to the work of the Clinton Foundation.
“Staff, foundation supporters and his Secret Service detail traveled on every leg of every trip. He had one meeting with Epstein at his Harlem office in 2002, and around the same time made a brief visit to Epstein’s New York apartment with a staff member and his security detail.
Here's the backstory:
Bill Clinton was a good friend of Epstein, flew on his private plane called the “Lolita Express” more than twenty times, and according to pilot records, there were underage teenagers on flights with Clinton.

Last month, it was reported that dozens of Jeffrey Epstein's high-profile associates are preparing for a New Year's surprise in which their names may be mentioned in court documents scheduled to be released in the first days of 2024.
Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz, who had previously called for all materials related to him to be made public, was the only John Doe identified by name before the ABC report on Bill Clinton.
However, Judge Loretta Preska stayed her order, giving lawyers representing the “activists” time to convince the court to keep the names under seal, so it is not clear whether the public will see the full list of Epstein's clients.
One witness claimed she saw Bill Clinton and “two young girls” on Epstein’s pedophile island in the Caribbean; But Clinton's spokesman denied these allegations.
