Baltimore – The rain will continue until tonight before it subsides. A stronger winter storm could affect part of the region this weekend.
Tonight
Pockets of rain and wet snow will slowly diminish tonight. Snow accumulation is not expected as ground temperatures will remain above freezing with showers of rain and wet snow. We expect a partial clearing later tonight with lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s.

Tuesday
The weather will be bright and windy all day. Highs will reach the mid 40s, but wind chills will remain in the upper 30s.
Wednesday:
Early sunshine will fade to high clouds. The weather during the day looks calm and dry with highs in the 40s. A few rain showers and wet snow showers are possible late Wednesday night. Some light accumulation is possible north and west of Baltimore where temperatures will be near freezing. Any buildup will be minimal, and will likely be around the outer layer, especially on grass.
Thursday:
Early rain and wet snow showers will diminish. We will see partial clearing with stormy weather. Highs will reach the mid 40s. Wind speeds will reach 25 mph.
Friday:
Morning sunshine will give way to increasing clouds. The weather appears dry during the day and night. High temperatures will reach nearly 40 degrees.
End of this week:
Although we have slight chances of rain/snow showers tonight and Thursday morning, the biggest problem in the room is this potential weekend storm! Confidence is growing about the possibility of a major or significant winter storm over *part* of the region this coming weekend. This storm could bring heavy snowfall to parts of our area. Right now, the greatest chance for heavy snow remains north and west of Baltimore, however, snow accumulation may occur as far south as Baltimore. Right now, it's too early to know the exact details of any potential snow accumulation.

We'll get a better idea later this week when the storm's exact track and intensity become clearer. In addition to the possibility of snow and a wintry mix, heavy wind-driven rain is likely on the coast. As far as the timeline, it looks like snow and/or rain will break out on Saturday and become heavy at times late Saturday into Saturday night. The storm will continue until Sunday morning before it subsides.
