Nadine Abdel Latif, originally from Gaza City, is once again homeless. She and her family initially fled after airstrikes completely destroyed their home in Gaza City, killing her older brother.
After being in Rafah, the neighboring house was bombed by Israeli forces and destroyed, leaving Nadine “terrified.”
“I have already lost my older brother, and I cannot lose my younger brother,” she says.
The war began after Hamas led a deadly attack on communities inside Israel, killing 1,200 people and taking about 240 hostage.
More than 21,500 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli bombing since then, according to the Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza. Most of the dead are said to be children and women.
