Why I joined the Great Resignation

Last month, I quit my job and joined in the big resignation. Now, when I first heard about this movement, I had no intention of quitting my job. I completely understand why people leave their jobs, and as a career coach, I've helped many of my clients through it. However, I never expected to leave the job I loved so much. But like everything in the world, the only thing about these times is unpredictable. In this podcast episode, I explain the reasons for my decision to join The Great Resignation, including:

    • My thought process behind the need for a career change at this point in my life
    • “Timing it” and benefiting from the “Great Replay”
    • Re-evaluating my true priorities in life

For once in my life, this decision was based entirely on a future version of myself and what the future held for my career. I wasn't happy in my career, but I learned to be proactive about what I needed in the future.

If you're thinking about joining The Great Resignation, this episode is for you!
