The Open.Ink project offers…
J6: Real timetable
The Open.Ink Project released its latest feature and investigative film J6: a True Timeline on Sunday, January 31, 2023 at the US Capitol.
The Gateway Pundit posted the trailer for this important film here.
J6: Real Timeline gives audiences a never-before-seen timeline of the events of January 6, 2021, as they unfolded in real time. No other film yet fills in the gaps or tells the story chronologically the way this film does. The film is also different from anything produced to date because it was a small group of protesters, some of whom were J6 defendants, who collected hours of footage to help contextualize the day's events. The film was funded and produced entirely through small donations and tens of thousands of volunteer hours. The hope is that the film will spark all Americans to be more curious about the real timeline for January 6.
The creator and producer of the documentary is AJ Fischer of InvestigateJ6. AJ is the J6 defendant who knows the most about what happened on the west side of the Capitol; Circumstances leading up to the declared riot and entry into the Capitol. In January 2023, Fisher began making the film a reality. He arranged financing for the project and hired professional producer Jason Rink to help. Rink is the project's executive producer. Paul Escandon is director and editor.
Fisher's less-lethal timeline was laid out in an article written by journalist Wendy Strauch-Mahoney with UncoverDC.
“Then I followed the facts, reviewing evidence from hundreds of J6 trials, as well as evidence from body camera footage, radio communications, and the testimony of police officers. It became conclusively clear that police ignored protester safety and D.C.’s well-entrenched protest crowd clearance laws,” Fisher said. Law enforcement in giving appropriate and required warnings before launching munitions. In some cases, police officers are heard admitting that they harmed and incited innocent people.
“It has become more clear that there are disparities between the way Congress investigated these unlawful police actions and when Black Lives Matter protesters were involved,” Fischer continued. “These same unlawful police actions were ignored or buried when police targeted J6 protesters. In fact, an objective observer will tell you that the J6 Select Committee ignored the facts to push a particular political narrative.
“J6 A True Timeline is the result of hours of investigation into the facts of J6. The purpose of this film is to set the record straight without favoring one party or the other. January 6th is a dark day in American history, but not in the way it was portrayed by it. The American people deserve to know the full, uncut, minute-by-minute truth of what happened. In fact, J6 was a complex human event; “a morning in which a peaceful and cheerful morning for the First Amendment Society became a riot for reasons more precise than most people want to believe.”
The seeds for this documentary were planted in January 2021, with Dave Summerall and Daniel Goodwin of StopHate.com, who provided much of the research for the film. Goodwin, the archival producer of J6 A True Timeline, played a key role in researching and archiving the media. Sumrall was the consulting producer for J6 A True Timeline, where he assisted with production and principal research.
According to J6 A True Timeline executive producer Jason Rink,
“The small group of collaborators has amassed one of the largest repositories of J6 footage in private hands. When the government continued to drag its feet on releasing the footage, this group decided to take matters into their own hands. They set out to task every angle of body camera footage, security footage and Citizens photographed them, and compiled them into a timeline using metadata and timecode. The result is that January 6 can be seen from almost every angle, at the same time, providing a much different story than was known before. Over the past year, filmmakers have been working to edit Capture the footage and turn it into a concise, accurate documentary that allows people to see the day's events as they happen.
The creators hope the film will provoke all Americans to ask questions based on what they see and hear.
- How did these protesters die and why?
- How is the government twisting the “no-go zone” to convict Americans?
- How many protesters actually knew they were entering restricted areas on the Capitol grounds?
- Do the Americans know that the flexible fence was placed on the Capitol grounds for the purpose of building the inaugural theater?
- Do Americans know that Capitol Police were told before January 6 not to use munitions on crowds?
- Why was there so much chaos? Why did people riot?
- Were the police prepared to handle the crowds that day? Why did the police not arrest individuals before the violence escalated?
- What really happened in the “tunnel” on January 6? How did Rosanne Boyland die?
- Why did Officer Byrd shoot Ashli Babbitt when Metro Police surrounded her from behind?
- What are the communications between Mayor Bowser, Members of Congress, President Sund and Yogananda Pittman?
- Why are the police heard saying they were “set up”?
- Why does former Capitol Police Officer Tariq Johnson keep saying that former USCP Assistant Chief of Intelligence Yogananda Pittman is… Very responsible Not former President Donald J. Trump.
The purpose of this film was not to edit, but rather to recount in chronological order the important events that occurred that day. Viewers will also see synchronized events throughout the film. The creators also wanted to highlight the circumstances of the protesters who lost their lives. The deaths of January 6th have been downplayed, manipulated, misunderstood, or completely overlooked by our government, the judicial system, and the mainstream media.
The mainstream media and our government have shown almost no interest in honest and unbiased reporting on the events of January 6, to the detriment of many. Sumrall says he and the other creators “have brought to light more evidence than the government or the media ever did.” He personally testified on behalf of Gers even under threat of imprisonment. He was also, like many of the J6 defendants, visited several times at his home where he was interrogated by the FBI. He and others have invested thousands of dollars in research, travel, advertising and outreach expenses on behalf of J6 defendants, many of whom have already been sentenced to years in federal prison.
Daniel Goodwin, producer of the J6 A True Timeline archive, has worked tirelessly to document the events of the day. His and Summerall's work will be featured on Open.Ink in hopes of preserving their years of dedication to bringing the truth about J6 to the American public. Goodwin worked behind the scenes for three years collecting information, data and original footage for the StopHate website. Goodwin is on the autism spectrum. Its greatest strength is its ability to meticulously search and collect massive amounts of data. Goodwyn's work is one of the main reasons he amassed such a large video and audio collection in the first place.
As with many of the J6 defendants, Goodwin was unfairly targeted by the Department of Justice. Goodwin walked through an open door at the Capitol for less than 40 seconds and walked back out. He did not steal, break, or touch a single thing in the Capitol building, nor did he hurt anyone. For this reason, the government wanted federal prison for more than 20 years. He was sentenced to 60 days in federal prison but his prison time was served on some of his prison time. Goodwin remains under supervision and is unable to move freely. He is also regularly subjected to drug testing.
Fisher, who is also a defendant who lost everything and will likely also face years in federal prison, talks about why this film needed to be made. He's the defendant whose UncoverDC news story went viral because his infant son was put on Quiet Skies' suspected terrorist watch list:
“The premise of the film was simple. Those of us with our unique perspective as eyewitnesses, investigators, and observers of the trials and the Congressional J6 Committee knew that the American public had been deliberately misled about the timeline of the events of January 6th.
“A story was created that combined events throughout the day to manufacture an explanation for the day that placed the blame squarely at Trump's feet, an explanation that was not based in reality at all. It was clear that they cherry-picked footage and evidence to explain the story they wanted to tell and lay the groundwork for impeaching President Trump and removing him from the presidential contest.” “.
“We knew that the peaceful protest outside the Capitol was incited into a riot long before a single protester entered the building,” Fisher continues. “We knew that the death toll of the four protesters was higher than previously reported. And we knew the American people didn't know any of these things.
Although not involved in the film's production or content, Katherine Engelbrecht and Greg Phillips have made the film available on Open.Ink as part of their J6 collection. Open.Ink will showcase other historical collections that have been heavily censored by the mainstream media and the US government. The idea is to preserve important historical events forever. The filmmakers will continue to investigate J6 to aid in their legal defense and to ensure the American public knows the truth about January 6.
