For a unique short height when you are Leadership between Nanimo and TofinoIt is good to stop for 30 minutes and check the hole in the wall in Port Alberani. I tried to do the path a few years ago, but I had time to find the corridor and surrender. On my last visit to Vancouver, I was determined to achieve this – and I did.

Why does it rise to the hole in the wall very convincing? I think we all see a water image leaks from a giant hole in a rock that feels the need to see it personally. The fact that the height is easy means that it is accessible to all ages, including young families.

Unfortunately, reaching the road on the other side of the crowded highway is dangerous frankly because the sight line is very short – cars are traveling quickly and do not expect people to cross the highway. The signs and script of the flashing corridor would make this area safer. If you decide to do this height, be sure to cross the highway.

Where is the hole in the wall trail?

You will find a hole in Wall Trail, about 6.5 km north of the city of Alberni from Coombs Country Candy. There is no sign that I can see it – and it is not clear from the highway, unless you see people starting to rise.

    Where can you stand?

There are a few places to stand, not great because of the highway.

There is a small or edge with an area of three cars on the southern side of the 4th highway, about 100 meters east of the rotation to Coombs Country Candy if you are driving east. From there, it is easy to reach the corridor – which is safer because you do not need to cross the highway.

Another big parking lot near Coombs Country Candy is easy to reach. However, if you are going to stop here, you will have to cross the highway – which is busy and not very safe, especially if you have a group of young or people who cannot run quickly. This is what we did – and we have just waited a good traffic break.

To reach the big car park, it turns into Coombs Country Candy. Then he immediately took the first dirt road on your right and went back to a clear parking lot. It is free to stand here. Please do not stand in a lot of Coombs Country.

    Height description

The hole in Wall Trail is not an official path, although you will not know the number of people who hold it. It is easy to follow the path when you know what you do, but there are some intersections where you can mess.

Start walking through the forest to a large open area. Take right and head along a road built on wild flowers. Continue, left left at the next intersection and again at the intersection wearing a hole in the wall mark.

The last part of the height includes a sharp slope to Roger Kreik on uneven terrain, but it has not long last. At any time, you will reach the creek. The first offer you get with the ugly concrete block is not the best, but stay away from that area and you will enjoy large trees, interesting rocks and the great hole in the rock.

What is the hole in the wall?

The hole in the wall is – a large hole carved in the rock where the water pipe was once. The tube in the hole in the wall was part of the Port Alberani water supply system. It took water from Roger Kreik and carried it to the city.

Apparently if you go to the forest, you may be able to find some old water stare tubes that carry water. If you are ready to explore, you can contact Rogers Creek Falls Trail in the direction of the river course – just 10 minutes away and discover a more beautiful waterfall.

What brings the height to the hole in the wall

Even in walking long distances and easy to carry 10 basics – Only if an error occurs.

Package of a pair of Water shoes To wander in the creek and a picnic lunch to enjoy a large tree under the water.

I love Katadyn befree 1l microfilter Where you simply dip the bottle in a stream, lake, or river and start drinking. It collapses when it is not in use and the space is liberated. I am also a package Aquatabs To purify the water, although you have to wait 30 minutes before you can drink water. They do nothing and take almost any space.

For socks, I am a great admirer of ritual ritual. Personally, I always go with Lightweight socks Since I have a problem and I do not like any pillow.

And if you are like me when traveling, you always take pictures and videos – and check maps and email messages. If you want to recharge your phone quickly, Anker Portable Quick Chager The trick will do.

More things that can be done near Alberani Port

Regardless of walking long distances in the near waterfall and raising one monitoring, I suggest a visit to Group Cathedral To see giant trees (perfectly at stopping times), and a trip to see Sproat Lake Petroglyphs.

I highly recommend Wildflower Café For lunch. The parts are large.

To get a detailed list of places to stay, things to do, where to eat, and visit Tourism Alberani Valley.

More increases on Vancouver Island will enjoy it
