The SERENGETI is a wide area of golden herbal lands, savannahs transmitted to okia, and rock protrusions known as Kopjes. The park covers approximately 12,000 square miles in northern Tanzania, and is one of the most famous wildlife conservation areas in the world. Its name, derived from the word Mahai “Siringet”, means “endless plains” – a suitable description of this iconic African wilderness.
We recently visited the SERENGETI National Park directly and we cannot wait to share its secrets with you.
Great immigration: the greatest nature show
Every year, more than 1.5 million Weldes, accompanied by hundreds of thousands of brutal red and deer, performs an epic trip via Serengietti in search of new grazing lands. This scene sees survival that predatory animals are lying in the shadows, river crossings, and the rhythm that is unavoidable in life and death play on a huge scale.
The great migration is always in a movement, but the most prominent of which is the birth season from late January to early March and the Mara River crossing from June to October. We found that the water gatherings in the center of Serengietti around Ceruna support animal residents throughout the year. We fully enjoyed the daily migration of the sheep of the protected heights, where they slept to the shepherd fields on the plains.
Large cats from Sirinigity
Black, leopards, and leopards dominate the predatory hierarchical sequence in Sirinigity. Black, which is often monitored, hangs out under the shaded trees or above rock formations, live in periods that can include up to 30 individuals. Facial leopards are preferred to isolate the branches of trees, while the leopards – built for speed – leaks from the open plains in the pursuit of antelopes.
We faced major confrontations with all the three big cats, but our favorite was watching the mother chased by her cub and taught how to climb trees.
Elephants: Nice giants from Savanna
The tall over herbal lands, African elephants are a common scene in Serengietti. These smart and social creatures are often transmitted in coherent family groups led by an imperial leadership. It plays an important role in maintaining the ecosystem by uprooting trees and creating other animal tracks.
Small elephants grow slowly and continue to nursing for two years after birth. We liked to see the bond between the mother and the child and how the herd worked together to maintain the safety of young people.
Wooks: The hidden retreats of wildlife
Distinguished all over Serengeti, rock formations called Kopjes are perfect points for predators and resorting to smaller creatures. These rock bumps provide shade of the sun and are often home to black, leopards and rocky. The most famous of these is Simba Kopje, it is said that it has inspired scenes in King of Assad.
We passed by Simba Kopje while we traveled from Ngorongoro to Serona, and it appears that he came directly from the movie. Then again, and so did a lot of other Kopjes that we have passed. We did not see a lion floating on top of the rocks, but we saw the colored lizards and a unique ecosystem that includes aloe vera.
Sirinjiti birds: Berder Paradise
With more than 500 species of birds, Serengeti is a paradise for bird monitors. From the vibrant roller in purple to the birds of secretary and towering ostrich, the garden is alive with the activity of birds. Circle and Eagles Eagles, monitor ever for an easy meal in the wake of predators.
We had many bird confrontations, including a purple cylinder for animals that play next to the jeep and eagle eagle on a child’s war. However, the person who is still repeating through our imagination is many eagles that came to feed on an unfortunate giraffe that passed through the night. Initially, it was only hyenas the sacrifice for themselves; Then, the eagles came in the waves. They alternated to choose their favorite parts, but it was more chaotic, like teenagers who compare the pizza from the designed dance.
Night Night: Night Life in Serengiti
When the sun sets over the plains, Sirinjiti turns into a different world. Black and black hyenas and black become more active, using the dark cover to search. Meanwhile, Aardvarks, Bush Babies and Porcupines come out of hiding points during the day to feed under Skylit Sky.
Siringettite size and isolation demanded a night stay in the park, which was an ideal opportunity for us to monitor the emergence of night creatures. When we approached our camp, we saw the river mares preparing to leave their blessing to spend a night of feed and sleep on the lions that were chanting in the dark.
Stay in a luxurious swelling camp
For an overwhelming and comfortable safari, luxury camps provide a perfect mixture of adventure and indulgence. This high-end residence provides luxury bed, inner bathrooms, and even a good food under stars-all surrounded by unlimited beauty.
It allows us to stay in the camp of waking tents on the wild sounds, from the roar of the distant lion to the soft theft of the breeze through the trees of Acacia. What surprised us is the size of Wildbests on their way to morning pastures. Luxury camps provide a truly unforgettable method for Serrengate’s experience.
Masai connection
The people of the Masai lived alongside wildlife in Serengiti for several centuries, and sponsoring livestock across the earth in harmony with nature. The traditional bomas (homes) and vibrant culture add a human dimension to the environmental story of the garden, as it displays the exact balance between preservation and heritage.
Masai played a fundamental role as nights in luxury camps. They tended to fire throughout the night to keep the lions in the Gulf and they were accompanying mandatory whenever we left our tent at night. It is amazing how confident and skillful they felt a pointed stick only to keep the night creatures in the Gulf.
Conservation and victories challenges
Serengtiti faces threats of overfishing, habitats, and climate change. However, conservation efforts, including control and sustainable tourism initiatives, have helped to protect its biological diversity. The garden is still a symbol to preserve a successful wildlife, ensuring that future generations can witness its wonders.
