Bad Bad Hats have released a new song called “Bored in the Summer”. It's taken from their new self-titled album, which comes out on Friday and has already been previewed by the songs “TPA” and “My Heart Your Heart.” Check out the video below.
“When Bad Bad Hats first started, I used to demo all our songs in Garageband,” Kerry Alexander of the group shared in a statement. “I love going through all the keyboard sounds and drum loops (Edgy Drums 3!) and creating a track. But as the band progressed, I moved away from that process instead of figuring everything out live in the studio with the band and our producer.” “Bored in the Summer” marked my return to Garageband. It was nice to know I could still do this. We kept some of my Garageband keyboard parts for the final version, but beefed up the arrangement with Chris and Conn's active drum and bass parts and added a key change. It adds some pop to the chorus which we love.
