Pond has announced a new album titled Pinch!, which arrives June 21 via Spinning Top. Follow up until 2021 9 It will include the previously released single “Neon River”, as well as the new song “(I'm) Stung”, which comes with a Western Australian take by Chris Adams. Check it out and find the album cover, tracklist and upcoming Pond tour dates below.

“I wrote most of this while mowing someone’s lawn,” band member Nicholas Allbrook said of “(I)Stong” in a statement. “I came home and put my fingers on the piano and played the base first. This is a very rare and special treat and it made me happy for weeks. It's funny because I was madly in love with someone, and they dropped me like a bag of shit and this song just flew by and hit me in the forehead and I felt completely better,” he added. Jin and Gum have all their magic – gorgeous vocals and fleeting strings.

He added: “It's about being bitten pathetically by someone and having to be quiet with nothing in return.” “Being resilient, accepting that you are just a goose, but life goes on.”

Captioning the visual, the band added: “We went to Lancelin, one of the most stereotypical looking venues in Western Australia, armed with a Super 8 camera, 12 tubes of silver body paint and a rock wardrobe. Nothing stood between us and cinema history but sweltering heat, drought and a phalanx of holidaymakers.” Legendary ATVs. Our friend Chris Adams also donned his beanie “film writer” hat and carried our poo as we dune-jumped dressed as NSYNC. Oh my god and the bee!! Apparently the bee does that. Nick kinda lost his mind in the endless whiteness and started In fearfully fighting the monster in the sky…probably all the paint fumes.
