Mr. Goblin gave another preview of their upcoming album Frog poems. This one is called 'The Notary', and follows last month's 'Goodnight Sun'. Check it out below.
“The idea for this idea came during the pandemic lockdown when I was thinking about what excuses I could make to go out and see people without violating the social contract,” Sam Joplin said of The Notary in a statement. “One idea was to be a notary and seal things for my friends. I never could, but I wrote this song. “Joe (the other guitarist on the record) had to sell me a little bit on the shoegaze-y Whammy tape part he wrote, but I'm so happy Because he did it because now I think he really makes the song.”
Frog poems It arrives April 26 via Spartan Records.
