Irish producer Seamus Mallaig, also known as Iglooghost, has announced a new album, Tidal memory exo, his debut with LUCKYME®. Scheduled to arrive on May 10, the first single, “Coral Mimic,” will be released today. Check it out and find the album cover and tracklist below.

“Coral Mimic is my take on a new local subgenre people call Post-Coil,” Iglooghost commented in a statement. “I made it using a horrible drum sequencer that could only be touched with gloves. Every 4 minutes, the LCD screen would black out due to an internal fuel leak, so I had to keep stopping so I could pull out the excess diesel at the right time. The tone was good but you can… She says I'm really angry because the technical issues are distracting me.

Speaking about the new record, Ighlooghost said: “Tidal memory exo It's an album I made while living in a flooded area in a quaint seaside town in the UK. The area was in an endless storm, causing strange primordial trash to wash ashore. It's basically just populated by weirdos hoarding unwanted junk at the moment. I've been trying to get involved in the music scene that's thriving locally. There are a lot of new mutant and alien species and illegal radio stations popping up – completely cut off from the rest of the country by this massive storm. They don't really like me, but I kind of worked my way up and finally got this album together. Tunes about ocean scum, illegal teletext transmissions, and prehistoric trilobite angels lurking in sewers.
