Two master pharmacy technicians at Molokaʻi Drugs, Inc. shared career information with Molokaʻi High School students during a recent Future Fest 2024 event.
The goal of this annual career event is to expose students to traditional and innovative careers.
As guest speakers, Precious Asuncion and Tyra Lynn Molina Lopez interacted with dozens of students, sharing information about careers in community pharmacy. They also provided insights into achieving National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and how the accomplishment can serve as a stepping stone to becoming a staff pharmacist.
Future Festival sponsors are: University of Hawaii Maui College, Hawaii P-20 and Molokai High School.
