The mother-in-law of a soldier killed in Biden's failed withdrawal from Afghanistan recently appeared on CNN, and the host wrongly assumed that Biden had reached out to her family.
When the woman pointed out that they had never heard from anyone in the Biden administration, the host appeared stunned by the news.
No one else will be surprised to know, but the people at CNN live in a bubble where Biden is a great man of empathy.
Here's how the exchange works via Twitchy:
The CNN anchor was stunned when the Gold Star mother said Biden never reached out to her family about her daughter-in-law's death.
CNN: “He's often called 'general counsel.' He actually talks to families who have lost loved ones… Did you sense that from him?”
Christy Champlin: “No.”
CNN: “Have you talked to him?”
Christy Champlin: “No. He has not reached out to our family. We have already reached out to the White House and have not heard back. We have asked to meet with them… and have not heard back. It has been months.”
CNN: “Sorry to hear that.”

In fact, Joe Biden never spoke about the soldiers killed in this incident.
Biden has never publicly mentioned the names of the 13 soldiers who died at Abbey Gate during his failed withdrawal from Afghanistan.
The media has given him credit for his great consolations, but he often ignores the inconvenient deaths. https://t.co/fWrPbBtmmw

Again, no one was shocked by this except people like the CNN anchor. Corporate media does not deal with reality.
