CLEVELAND, Ohio – It's going to be a wet weekend in Northeast Ohio, starting with rain and possibly ending with snow as temperatures drop.
Friday's weather will be mild, with highs in the mid 60s, according to the National Weather Service. There is a 30% chance of showers later in the afternoon, but increases to 80% overnight. Temperatures will drop into the low 50s.
Rain is certain to fall on Saturday and will be heavy, with up to three-quarters of an inch in some areas. Wind gusts will be around 31 mph and highs will remain in the low 50s. Winds will be steady around 21 to 23 mph overnight, and rain is expected to turn to snow around 4 a.m. Sunday, with a half-inch possible.
One to two inches of snow is possible Sunday and highs will remain in the low 30s. It will be cool and breezy throughout the night, with a low around 30.
Monday will bring a welcome shift, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid 40s. It will be sunny with highs in the 50s on Tuesday, then partly sunny and mild on Wednesday, with a high around 60 degrees.
