Yulia Navalnaya, the widow of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, has called for an election day protest against President Vladimir Putin.
People should form long lines at polling stations at midday on March 17, as part of the protest, she said in a YouTube video.
She also suggested voters either tear up their ballots or write “Navalny.”
Alexei Navalny died suddenly in a Russian penal colony on February 16. Ms Navalnaya blamed Putin for his death.
Russia's presidential elections are scheduled for March 15-17, and Putin is widely expected to win a fifth term in office. Most international observers do not believe that the elections will be free or fair.
