Weather impact with widespread storms for South Florida
You. Yasmine watches the roads. We start with the first warning. But meteorologist Sandra Shaw. Sandra, where is that rain now? Well, now we have this big cluster over southwest Florida, and it's just entering the keys. And we have a few of our own. You can see it moving from the bay. We have a warm front and then a cold front north of that. So this is the situation. Warm air and a cold front move north. But we are not stable. So the current satellite radar shows all this moisture coming out of the Gulf of Mexico and flooding the Florida peninsula. So, if I move things around here, you can see that now in our area, it's very sparse. I mean, we only have light rain around Okeechobee, Palm City to Wellington Boynton and Delray. The bulk of the momentum for the stronger type of precipitation movement is south of us over Lauderdale, Miami. But from Okeechobee, all the way to Stuart and Palm City, there is a beautiful sheen of precipitation. Pretty steady here, extending into Hobe Sound and Jupiter Island beyond that, there's a nice sort of rain sheen all the way from Palm Beach Gardens down to Lake Worth Beach. Hypoluxo Boynton, and even to Boca with again, heavier matters. Well, to our south with that said, we could see some strong storms again this afternoon. We are at marginal risk of that for the Florida peninsula even today. Influential weather conditions with high coverage of storm potential at least throughout the day. 77 to 82 degrees. Two rounds of rain intermittently throughout the day until the system can wind down
