Brooklyn five-piece band Habibi have announced their new album, Dreammachine, which is scheduled to arrive on May 31 via Kill Rock Stars. Follow up until 2020 Anywhere but here Led by the single “On the Road” which you can check out below.
“Out of the gate, a lot of people associated us with a kind of sweet, innocent sound,” band member Lenny Lynch commented in a statement. “As we get older and the world gets weirder, I think music gets worse with it.”
Dreammachine It was produced by Tyler Love and longtime collaborator Jay Heiselman, and features MGMT multi-instrumentalist James Richardson. “There is always a desire to excel in our music, a desire to push our limits,” Rahel Jamalifard added. “Whether it be spiritual, physical or emotional, this album seems to truly embody the search for something more.”
