Far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) had a heated confrontation with pro-Palestinian protesters outside a movie theater in New York City on Monday.
The demonstrators demanded that the Israeli military campaign in Gaza be described as “genocide.”
In response, the New York representative expressed her frustration with the protesters who confront her openly.
“I want you to understand that this is not OK,” AOC said of the situation she and fiancé Riley Roberts were in.
The protester responded by saying, “It is not acceptable that genocide is happening and you are not actively against it.”
One of the men can be seen holding an iPhone, urging her on, hoping to capture the moment she loses her temper. AOC was handed over immediately.

AOC confronts protesters who made her feel uncomfortable
This author has consistently expressed his disdain for people who yell at legislators, athletes, and entertainers when they are trying to enjoy time with their families in public.
It's a basic level of decency to let them do that. Now, if they are in context a job In public places – say, holding a press conference outside a building – people have the right to do so.

AOC appears to be a rich target for protesters, perhaps because she has encouraged them to do so in the past and they are simply taking her up on the offer.
And in one of the most recent incidents, New Yorkers let her deal with the illegal immigration crisis that has gripped the city that never sleeps.

In 2022, it has been interrupted on several occasions by protesters upset over funding Ukraine's war and pushing the United States closer to a global nuclear confrontation.

Ocasio-Cortez previously revealed that she was undergoing therapy to learn how to deal with the “very traumatic” Capitol protest in 2021.
Her therapist must be doing a good job as she effectively confronts the pro-Hamas protesters. Or maybe it's simply because these are Democratic voters and she's not afraid of them.
