The defense attorney for Trump co-accused Michael Roman, Ashley Merchant, has been summoned to appear before a Georgia Senate committee to investigate wrongdoing by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
This subpoena is likely related to text messages sent to Merchant by Michelle Wade's former divorce attorney and his law partner, Terrence Bradley.
The Georgia Senate hearing is scheduled to be broadcast live on Wednesday.
As The Gateway Pundit reported last week, Judge Scott McAfee is scheduled to decide “within the next two weeks” that Fanny Willis and her office are incompetent to prosecute Trump and 18 other defendants in the Georgia election interference case.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis “benefited financially” from a romantic relationship with Trump's Attorney General Nathan Wade. Willis also improperly hired Wade to sue Trump while she slept with him and has paid him over $700,000 since!
Judge Scott McAfee previously said that Fanny Willis may be excluded from Trump's RICO case because of her improper relationship with Trump's attorney general, Nathan Wade.
The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on testimony at previous hearings by Nathan Wade, Fanny Willis, and Fanny's former Black Panther father.
Fannie Willis and Nathan Wade testified earlier last month that they began a relationship after Wade was appointed to lead Trump's election interference case.
Divorce attorney Nathan Wade and his former law partner, Terrence Bradley, returned to the stand on Tuesday last week after previously refusing to answer questions and hiding behind attorney-client privilege last month. Judge Scott McAfee later ruled he was not protected by attorney-client privilege and ordered him to testify last Tuesday morning.
Robin Yearty, who worked in Fannie Willis's office, also testified and according to transcripts from Terrence Bradley, Fannie Willis and Nathan Wade began their relationship in 2019 — before Willis appointed Nathan Wade as lead prosecutor in the RICO legal case against President Trump.
However, Bradley dodged questions while sweating on the witness stand when asked about text messages containing information he previously leaked to Trump accuser Michael Roman's lawyer, Ashley Merchant, about Wade and Willis' relationship. He did not answer questions, claiming that he did not know or could not remember any details, despite the presence of text receipts.
The Gateway Pundit reported on the full text exchange between Terrence Bradley and Ashley Merchant, which was admitted into evidence and shows that Nathan Wade began dating Fanny Willis in 2019 before she took office and before Wade was appointed as special prosecutor to indict Trump and 18 defendants.
Read the text messages, which show that Nathan Wade and Fanny Willis likely began dating in 2019, long before Wade was named lead prosecutor in the witch hunt case.
A Georgia Senate investigative panel with subpoena powers is also looking to dig deeper into Fannie Willis' corruption and her relationship with Trump's Attorney General Nathan Weiss, which began long before Wade was appointed as special prosecutor to imprison Trump ahead of the 2024 election.

CNN —
Defense attorney Ashley Merchant was summoned to appear before a Georgia State Senate committee hearing on Wednesday during an investigation into the actions of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
Merchant confirmed to CNN that she has been summoned to attend the hearing, which will be broadcast live.
The Georgia Legislative Committee, which was formed in January to investigate the Fulton County district attorney, said it plans to issue subpoenas while investigating Willis, the Democratic state prosecutor who brought the racketeering case against Donald Trump and his allies for their actions after the 2020 election.
Merchant, the defense attorney for one of Trump's defendants, is the first person to be issued a subpoena by the committee. Allegations of an inappropriate relationship were initially made against Willis and Nathan Wade, the lead prosecutor in the case. The controversy threatened to undermine the case against Trump in Georgia.

This is more than a subpoena for records of the dealer's communications with Bradley as previously announced
I expect the questioning will cover all relevant issues relating to her dealings with Willis' office
