“It's always an exciting moment when you can welcome two new TBR products to one of the trucking industry's leading technical conferences,” said Hyesik Lee, TB marketing manager for Hankook Tire America. “Both the SmartLine AL52 and SmartLine DL52 provide long-range solutions that are more economical and sustainable, and improve critical performance categories to help our nation's truck drivers move forward.”
Designed for long-range installations, both Smart Line AL52 and Smart Line DL52 Hankook Tire's latest TBR innovations include “Hidden Groove” technology, which dynamically adjusts tread patterns as the tire wears, improving mileage, fuel efficiency and braking power. This achievement has resulted in a significant 4-6% reduction in the tire's rolling resistance coefficient (RRC) compared to previous models, enabling more cost-effective and environmentally friendly driving.
Additionally, at TMC, Hancock TMS and FMS offers It will demonstrate how these sensors enable remote monitoring of tire pressure, temperature and wear, facilitating predictive maintenance and cost-effective fleet management.
Attendees will also experience TBR's industry-leading innovations, including Hankook tire solenoid technology, an innovative belt reinforcement method applied to Hankook Tire's USS (Ultra Super Single) specification. Through this physical specimen, visitors can directly observe the belt's layered structure in the direction of travel. This technology significantly improves the tire's contact area with the road surface, ensuring stable driving performance, long distance and enhanced energy efficiency.
Visitors to Hankook's stand will also receive information about its future technology roadmap through videos and detailed explanations of its ongoing commercial vehicle solutions and sensor technology developments.
