(Selected weather) – What a beautiful start to the week! This was after the fog cleared. Are we going to have to deal with that again Tuesday morning? Yes, we can see some dense patchy fog in some neighborhoods. But it probably won't be as widespread as the last couple of days.
Clouds will continue to roll in on Tuesday, but highs will still reach the lows in the 70s. The weather will be mostly dry, but some light rain can start moving into the mountains and foothills by 9-10 p.m., lasting overnight until Wednesday when the rain will actually fall. It will be heavy at times during Wednesday morning, with rain tapering off briefly in the afternoon. Another round of rain will come with possible storms in the evening. All this as a low pressure front and area moves towards the region.
Thursday will be briefly drier, but the next storm system will bring more rain and storms Friday into Saturday.
Speaking of the weekend, it's “spring forward” time again! Convert hours Before One hour before bed on Saturday night, with the start of daylight saving time.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 47.
Tuesday: clouds and sun. Showers late west of Charlotte. High 72.
