Frequent MSNBC guest and Morning Joe contributor Donny Deutch recently told host Nicole Wallace that Democrats need to “scare people” about the possibility of a Trump victory in 2024.
Instilling fear is a German specialty. He does so almost every election cycle.
He recommends that Democrats bring in generals like Mark Milley to warn the American people that Trump poses a danger to the country. Like people actually listen to Millie and respect him.

Political commentator Donny Deutch said Friday on MSNBC's “Deadline” that President Joe Biden and Democrats should “scare people” with what they think will happen during Donald Trump's second presidency.
“Do you remember when you had a guy like Milley who wouldn't take orders from Trump and start sending troops to attack Americans?,” Deutch said. That will change. Therefore, there is neither an independent army nor an independent judiciary. We're seeing what that looks like. Guess what, you can't rely on the rule of law anymore, you can't rely on an independent FCC, and certainly not an independent Department of Justice. Freedom will end. “Things like women, birth control, will disappear.”
He continued: “This is the campaign that Democrats need to run. And I've been thinking about this a lot. There are four people who need to step forward. Kelly, Mattis, McMaster, and Milley. And there has to be a public campaign where these generals, who worked with him, have to go to the American public and go to the camera and say, “You don't understand how scary this can be.” We could really be hitting a cliff here.
