America's southern border is out of control. In fact, 7.2 million illegal immigrants have entered the United States under Joe Biden.
But Axios wants you to know that there is a “bright side” to this border chaos.
seriously. The “silver lining” are two elements that directly harm Americans.

Arrival of illegal immigrants 'helps reduce inflation'
“Immigrants are coming to the rescue for employers suffering from a historically tight labor market, and their arrival is helping to reduce inflation,” Axios reported.
Yes it is? At least one group says the “real” unemployment rate is more than 23%. You have to remember that unemployment should include every person of working age who is unemployed.
But the inflation claim is even worse. If you add millions of people in a short time, competing to buy the same goods as Americans, prices will not go down. Fifth graders can understand this, but journalists can't?
“Foreign-born workers now make up nearly 19% of the workforce, up from 17.3% when President Biden took office,” the report noted.
“The recent increase in the number of illegal immigrants is a major factor in the increase of 1.7 million additional workers expected in 2024, according to a recent analysis by the Congressional Budget Office,” Axios noted. “These new entrants will help the U.S. economy grow by about $7 trillion over the next decade.”
Will 1.7 million illegal immigrants create $7 trillion in wealth in 10 years? At this rate, each illegal alien will generate a fortune worth $4 million within a decade. If there were 7.2 million illegal immigrants, the economy would grow by 296,470,590,000,000,000,000!
The story continued:
More than 3 million migrants remain in the country who were encountered at the southern border during Biden's presidency.
An additional million people arrived through ports of entry through Biden's new programs that rely on expanded use of parole — a legal mechanism that allows immigrants without visas to enter the United States.
An additional 3.7 million people entered the United States through other legal paths, with the ability to work, according to administration estimates.
Some of these new arrivals were recorded by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which counts 3 million additional foreign-born workers in the workforce under Biden.
They are trying to prove that in addition to those in the United States, illegal immigration is somehow a good thing. Useful even.
The report added: “Do not expect Biden to race to the podium to highlight the relationship between increased immigration and low inflation, according to aides and advisors.”
I thought?
And remember, this is the same media outlet that told us the southern border was more “fortified” than ever.

Sorry, Axios, mass invasions are bad, not good
This is some real mental gymnastics.
A president cannot preside over what amounts to a mass invasion of his country and then have everyone pretend that this is somehow a good thing socially and economically.
His administration won't “race to the podium” for the “spotlight” because even Democrats understand how ridiculously crazy it all sounds.
No, Joe Biden will have to run on his record this year, and his dramatic failure to secure our borders will be no small part of it.
It's time to support and share the sources you trust.
