Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested an illegal alien from Guatemala who was convicted of sexually assaulting a child under 14 years old.
According to ICE, the 34-year-old illegal Guatemalan was released by a Gloucester District Court in Massachusetts despite having an ICE detainer against him.
“On February 21, Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Boston arrested a 34-year-old Guatemalan national who was unlawfully present in Gloucester, and who had recently been convicted locally of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age. A Guatemalan national was released by a Gloucester District Court, even though ERO Boston filed a lawsuit against him against a Guatemalan national. – ICE said in a statement.
“The arrest was part of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) latest national law enforcement effort, which focused on apprehending unlawfully present noncitizen sex offenders. ERO officers arrested 275 noncitizen sex offenders who were unlawfully present during a nationwide law enforcement effort that took place between February 5 and 16. Ice said.
“This individual represents a serious threat to the people of Massachusetts,” said Todd M. Lyons, director of ERO's Boston office. “Illegally convicted sex offenders should not be given the opportunity to reoffend. The victim of his crimes deserves better from our justice system. The men and women of ERO Boston will continue to protect our communities from such threats.”
This is the second time in the past month that an illegal alien accused of rape has been released in Massachusetts.
Last month, Boston authorities released one of Joe Biden's illegal aliens from Haiti accused of raping a disabled person, in defiance of a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer.
According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the 31-year-old illegal alien entered the United States at the invitation of Joe Biden via open borders in December 2022 at the port of entry in Brownsville, Texas.
Update: According to an ICE source, the 31-year-old Haitian man's name is Pierre Locard-Emile. The source also provided a photo of himself from the federal database.
