Minneapolis – Sunday will not be as windy as the day before, and highs will return to above average.
In the Twin Cities, the forecast high is 48. Most of the state will be in the mid to upper 40s.

A weak patch of energy could bring rain or snow showers into the mix in the afternoon, but outside of that, it will be a quiet day.
Temperatures will rise on Monday, with highs expected to reach 61 degrees. If this continues, this will be the first 60-degree day in 2024, and close to the record of 64 degrees set in 1896. We'll have plenty of sunshine and gusty southerly winds, too.
Tuesday's storm will bring more wind, lower temperatures and a mix of snow and rain. Highs will drop into the 40s on Tuesday and will be cooler behind this system, with Wednesday reaching the 20s.
However, another warm-up period arrives after that, with highs potentially back into the 50s by Friday and possibly over the 60s next weekend.
