Haiti – Culture: Applications are open, program for future young professionals in the field of culture

Within the framework of the “Tunbo” project to support the structuring of the cultural industries sector in Haiti, the French Institute implements a program to receive young cultural professionals in French structures, in partnership with the Connaissance et Liberté FOKAL Foundation and the French Embassy in Haiti, France, volunteers and funding from the French Development Agency (AFD).
In collaboration with France Volontaires, the civic services will be hosted in various French cultural structures such as national dramas, dance theatres, concert halls or festivals.
Depending on their tastes and profiles, young professionals will have the opportunity to train in different fields such as management, production, mediation, communications and even performance techniques.
Over a period of 6 to 10 months, volunteers, accompanied by a mentor, will develop in a professional environment to better understand issues related to the conduct of artistic events.
Opening application / basic requirements:
– Be at least 20 years old and under 26 years old upon their return to Haiti.
– To have professional or volunteer experience of not less than 6 months in the cultural sector, and as a priority in all areas of live performance, music and performance techniques.
– Be Haitian and reside in the country.
– To have a profile in presentation management, production, communications/press relations, mediation, presentation techniques: sound, lighting, general management,
– To have a professional project to return to Haiti in the field of culture
