Much of the country will be hit by severe weather next week from a powerful storm that will start on the West Coast this weekend. Heavy rain and mountain snow are expected in Washington state starting Sunday. The storm will eventually move to the central United States, where severe weather and snow are likely.

A diving system across the Midwest and Great Lakes is bringing a little bit of winter back to areas that have seen a lack of snow this season. However, it won't be much, and spring weather will return next week.
A new image from the lunar lander has been revealed, but it's unclear if we'll get more
Officials released a new image from the US spacecraft that landed on the moon on Thursday. It was captured several miles from the moon's surface, and more than 100 miles from its landing site. Scientists said that the vehicle likely landed on its side, and the camera designated to record the landing was not used at all. They said they hope to use a lunar orbiter to take a photo of the rover on the lunar surface this weekend.
