It has been abundantly clear for some time that Joe Biden doesn't care about his country's southern border.
The US-Mexico border is in chaos, and the president is out of the country for lunch.
But it is important to put this tragedy in context, which is what Fox News recently did in comparing the number of illegal immigrants entering the country under Biden with the size of the US population in several states.

Border tragedy
More than 7 million Illegal aliens have been crossing the border since Biden took office. That's twice the number of people living in Los Angeles, and nearly twice the number of people living in New York City.
But even that doesn't tell the whole story.
“Nearly 7.3 million migrants illegally crossed the Southwest border under President Biden’s watch, more than the population of 36 individual states, a Fox News analysis found,” Fox News reported.
“This number comes from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, which has already reported 961,537 border encounters in the current fiscal year, which runs from October through September,” Fox News notes.
The story continued:
If the current pace of illegal immigration does not slow, fiscal year 2024 will break last year's record of 2,475,669 encounters at the southwest border — a number that itself exceeds the population of New Mexico, a border state.
The total number of encounters at the Southwest land border since Biden took office in 2021 is 7,298,486, Customs and Border Protection data show.
This is larger than the population of 36 US states, including Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon. , Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
The story continued, “Compared to the largest US states, the number of 7.3 million people represents about 18.7% of California’s population of 39 million, 23.9% of Texas with its 31 million population, and 32.3% of Florida’s population of 37. 3% of the population of Texas and its 31 million people. % of New York. It is more than half the size of Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Ohio. “
…
Overall, “in total, nearly 10 million immigrants crossed into the United States illegally during the Biden administration, a record number that Biden’s critics contend can only be achieved by deliberately refusing to enforce the law.”

unbelievable
Is there a more dereliction of the president’s duty than this?
We often focus on Biden's stumbling, forgetfulness, and other aspects of his incompetence that come with age.
But, ancient or not, allowing such a staggering number of illegal aliens into the country is a failure of epic proportions, as president.
Joe Biden does not deserve another term. He deserves a trial.
Because his failure to respect his country's borders is a crime.
