Good morning Los Angeles! It's looking like a partly cloudy Thursday as Angelenos trade in their rain boots for their tennis shoes.
It will be partly cloudy throughout the day in Los Angeles County. Along the coasts, average daytime highs will be in the mid 60s, and nighttime lows will be in the 40s to mid 50s.
Morning cloud cover will give way to some afternoon sunshine. Afternoon highs will reach the mid 60s to around 70 degrees from the beaches to downtown Los Angeles and into the San Fernando Valley, and the San Gabriel Valley will range from the mid 60s to lower 70s. The Santa Clarita Valley will be in the mid to upper 60s and Antelope Valley will be in the 50s to around 60 degrees.
Inland Orange County residents will experience temperatures in the low to mid 60s. Riverside will range from 58 to 63. The Coachella Valley will be in the low 70s.
Looking ahead, the National Weather Service says a “warming trend” will develop through Friday with strong Santa Ana winds heading into the weekend. A smaller storm system is expected to bring rain and snow to the area starting Sunday and into Monday, followed by dry weather on Tuesday and Wednesday.
