Ellis has released a new song called “What I Know Now,” the second single from the Canadian singer-songwriter’s upcoming album. There is no place to feel it. The lead single “Erase Me” follows. Take a listen below.
“When I showed this song to a close friend before it was finished, she commented on how sad it was and I found that kind of funny because even though I understand where it's coming from, this song doesn't make me feel sad.” Ellis explained in a statement. “It was so easy to write, and the most deluded I've ever allowed myself to be. Ultimately, 'What I Know Now' is a track that's anti-music-industry, but even though the verses are very specific to my own experience, I think the chorus serves as this The refrain is so universal – that hindsight can really be a bitch.”
There is no place to feel it It comes out April 26.
