Democrats have dusted off their old Russia collusion hoax as we head deeper into election season.
Democratic Rep. Dan Goldman absurdly claimed that the Russians are interfering in the 2024 election in the wake of the recent Justice Department attack on the FBI informant that blew the whistle on the Biden-Burisma scandal.
Biden's Justice Department now alleges that the FBI informant arrested last week is “actively promoting new lies that could impact the US election after meeting with Russian intelligence officials in November.”
Confidential FBI source Alexander Smirnov was indicted last week by Hunter Biden's special counsel, David Weiss, on charges of making a false statement to the FBI and “creating a false and fictitious record.”
Smirnov was the primary source of the Biden-Burisma bribery allegations. According to Smirnov, Burisma Holdings founder and Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky told him he had paid a total of $10 million in bribes to Hunter and Joe Biden. There are text messages and audio recordings to support these claims.
Recall that last July, Senator Chuck Grassley released an FBI document showing Joe Biden's involvement in a $10 million bribery scheme with Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky.
Form FD-1023 alleges that then-Vice President Joe Biden forced Zlochevsky, a Ukrainian oligarch, to pay himself and his son Hunter Biden a total of $10 million.
According to the document, Biden's bribery arrangements were described as “poluchili,” Russian slang for “to force or coerce payment.”
David Weiss had been investigating Hunter Biden for six years and waited until the 2024 election to charge a trusted confidential human source (CHS) whom the FBI relied on for years and paid more than $100,000 for information.
Democrats immediately went on the offensive to torpedo the Biden impeachment inquiry since House Republicans relied on Burisma whistleblower documents released by Senator Grassley in their investigation.
Democrats Raskin and Goldman are now promoting the Russia Collusion 2.0 hoax.
“It now looks as if Russia is using the Republican majority in the House of Representatives to interfere in the 2024 election,” Dan Goldman told CNN's Dan Goldman.
Of course, Anderson Cooper did not back down from Dan Goldman's lies.
