Mister Goblin, the project of former astronaut Sam Goblin, has announced a new album titled Frog poems. It is scheduled for release on April 26 via Spartan Records. Along with the news, he shared a new song titled “Goodnight Sun.” Check it out below.
“This was the first song I wrote for the record and the song that came together the quickest,” Joplin said in a statement. “Maybe it's clearly a reimagining of a children's book Good night, moon If it happened in a declining world. One time, I played it at a house show and a kid came up to me afterwards and said he had to leave halfway through and go call his girlfriend to get back with her (or “put her back in the bag” as he put it.) because he found it moving. “I hope they are happy, but I have my doubts.”
