Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly spoke out this week to criticize media propaganda that Vice President Kamala Harris is only popular because of her skin color and gender.
Kelly's votes are down
During her eponymous SiriusXM show this week, Kelly responded to an opinion piece written by New York Times (NYT) columnist Ezra Klein, who claimed that Harris is “being underestimated” as an alternative to President Joe Biden if he withdraws from the presidency. Presidential elections 2024.
Kelly was quick to shut down Klein's suggestion that Harris' “problems on the public stage” are due to her being a black woman.
“I've overcome my lady parts to not be so careful and careful and thoughtful — it's amazing that I've overcome that, despite all the estrogen raging in my body,” Kelly quipped.
“And Kamala Harris was clearly very powerful, I think, for being black and for being a woman. That's why she is the way she is,” she continued. “I mean, well, tell Condoleezza Rice that because she didn't have any of those problems.”

Kelly Torches Harris
This isn't the first time Kelly has spoken out against Harris. Last month, Kelly responded to Harris after the vice president admitted she was “very afraid” of Donald Trump's re-election.
“She thinks she's Rush Limbaugh. She's not. It's very obvious,” Kelly said in response. “She tries to explain things to people all the time, like she's talking to a two-year-old. And look, I talk to my audience about complicated things all the time, and I never assume that anyone understands something complicated. I always give a couple of lines of explanation because people live their lives and don't follow politics day and night like me. But I don't treat them like they're stupid.”
“I respect the intelligence of my audience, which they deserve because I'm speaking to my audience,” Kelly continued. “They call all the time on SiriusXM, they write on MegynKelly.com. She talks to the people listening like she thinks they're on the short bus. Forgive me, but she does.”

Kelly doubles down
Kelly did not stop there, but said that she felt “offended” by the way Harris spoke.
“All I feel is insulted. He insulted my intelligence. I'm bored with you. I'm so insulted by you,” Kelly said. “The thing is, it makes me think of Oprah. So, Oprah was actually full of depth when she did this show. But back in the day when you were young in law school, when you turned on the Oprah Winfrey show, you heard something. It was her that we had our “aha moment” from.
“She'll say this little catchy phrase where you say, 'Oh, yeah, that's something to think about,' and her team will set it to music and slow down the interaction, and you'll be moved.” Kelly added. “You might think, 'Oh, I feel inspired.'” She thinks it's an opera. She thinks we'll add a little sparkling music. I'll say it this way, and even though it's completely absurd, it will move people.

This comes at a time when Harris is still very unpopular. Newsweek reported that the latest polls show Harris' current approval rating at 36.7 percent as of February 18, while 51.9 percent of Americans disapprove of her.
Liberals can pretend that Harris is unpopular just because she is a black woman, but that is not the case at all. In the end, Harris is hated because she did a terrible job as Vice President, and her gender and skin color have nothing to do with it!
