Warm and windy conditions will bring critical fire weather to the area this afternoon.
TODAY: Another very warm day across southern Colorado with highs in the 60s and 70s. Winds will pick up this afternoon, ranging from 25 to 45 mph. There are also very dry conditions with a relative humidity of ten to fifteen percent.
Tonight: Partly cloudy and cold with some light snow falling during the night. Very little, if any, snow accumulation in Colorado Springs with light accumulations north of downtown and west in Teller County.
EXTENDED: Scattered rain and snow on Thursday with temperatures in the 40s and 50s. High pressure returns this weekend as temperatures rise.
