DENVER (KDVR) — Sunshine and warmer than normal temperatures will dominate Denver's weather through the start of the work week, while the mountains will see some light snow showers.
Tonight's weather: clouds clearing
On Sunday evening, the clouds will gradually recede. Temperatures will drop into the upper 20s, about 10 degrees above average for this time of year.
Weather tomorrow: sunny and warm
On Monday, sunshine will help keep the warming trend going. High temperatures will reach the upper 50s, which is more than 10 degrees above average.
Looking ahead: Stay above average, shower mid-week
Tuesday will be the warmest day of the week. Temperatures will rise to the mid-60s, nearly 20 degrees above normal, but still about 10 degrees below the record high of 75 degrees set in 1935.
Wednesday, clouds will increase in anticipation of a chance of rain on Wednesday evening. The precipitation will start out as rain and briefly mix with snow Wednesday night into early Thursday.
The chance of rain is on its way to clearing Thursday evening before sunshine on Friday into the weekend.
