Lord Cameron said he wanted Ukraine's allies to “do more” to help defeat Russia, and together to “outperform” President Vladimir Putin's regime.

Speaking to Sky News during a security conference in Munich Minister of Foreign Affairs He said Ukraine Superiority of partners Russia “25 to one” and that they “have to make that difference matter.”

Lord Cameron said: “What I am clear about is that Britain is absolutely at the forefront of providing support [to Ukraine]. The first to provide so many different weapons systems, and of course the first to give new security guarantees to Ukraine. Now others are following suit.

“But most of all…look at what Ukraine's allies have. If you add our economies, we outperform Russia 25 to one. We have the ability to provide that diplomatic, military, economic and moral support. We've just got to make that difference matter.”

The former prime minister again urged the US to agree to more aid funding for Ukraine, having already pressed Congress to go ahead with a proposed $61bn (£49bn) funding package.

The funding package bill has passed through the Senate, but faces a very uncertain future in the House of Representatives, where hardline Republicans oppose the legislation.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Republican, criticized the bill for lacking conservative provisions to stop the record flow of migrants across the U.S.-Mexico border.

Lord Cameron said, speaking about aid to Ukraine. “Are we doing enough right now? No, I want us to do more.”

“I know Britain is doing what it can. The European Union has voted through its package to provide massive support to Ukraine. Now we need the US Congress to do the same.”

He added, “If these three things come together, I think it will make a real difference and show Putin that he cannot wait for us. He will not win by testing our patience.”

The former Prime Minister's statements come after the statements of Oleksandr Sersky, a Ukrainian Newly appointed supreme commanderHe told his troops Withdrawal from the city of Avdiivka, located on the front line “To avoid encirclement” by Russian forces.

Cameron added: “Of course, things that happen in Ukraine are decided by the Ukrainian armed forces.”

“But I would point you towards the Black Sea, where another Russian ship has been sunk again due to an incredibly brave Ukrainian act.

“And in the Black Sea, the Russian fleet has been pushed back across the Black Sea. Ukraine is exporting again. Its economy is growing again. This is very important news.”

Navalny was an 'incredibly brave man'

Lord Cameron was also asked about Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, a leading critic of President Putin Whose death was confirmed by prison authorities in Russia on Friday.

He described Navalny as an “incredibly brave man” and added: “His life revealed much about the truth about Putin’s horrific regime, and his death has revealed it once again.

“There have to be consequences when such horrific human rights violations happen. What we do is we look at whether there are individuals responsible and whether there are individual measures and actions that we can take.

Lord Cameron added: “We don't announce it in advance, so I can't say more than that, but that's what we will consider.”

He added, “Of course, we have already summoned the ambassador and explained our point of view regarding this horrific event and the way this person was treated.”
