Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) responded to one of her colleagues' recent revelations of a “serious national security threat” — but perhaps not in the way he expected.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner (R-Ohio) publicly revealed the threat and called on President Joe Biden to declassify the information. As The Policy Insider reported, Turner's claims have received some pushback, more so regarding the timing of the news than its substance.
Reports have emerged suggesting that the threat in question relates to Russia's “desire to place a nuclear weapon in space” to disable satellites.
But speculation has grown that Turner made the threat when he did so, even though it was not an imminent concern, as a way to get House lawmakers to vote for more aid to foreign countries, especially Ukraine.

Greene on national security threat: It's real

However, this threat lies within.
“Are we facing a national security threat?” Green asked. “It's my duty to be honest with you. Yes. It's real.”
But that threat isn't exactly what Turner was trying to sell.
“Our president has dementia and is responsible for our country and the nuclear football. He is the one who opened our borders wide to more than 10 million people, from more than 160 countries around the world, and two million of them we have never been able to arrest. However, there is an unknown unknown. “A number of them are actually terrorists who want to kill you,” Green said.
Greene delved further into the border threat, noting the president's alleged empowerment of drug cartels and willingness to turn a blind eye to human trafficking.
It also cited “national security threats” in the form of a national debt mostly owned by communist China, a weak US dollar, and the destruction of taxpayers' personal retirement accounts.

In her lengthy article, Greene took time to address Turner's claims as well as the extensive weaponization of secret intelligence to influence government policy and public opinion.
Perhaps the greatest threat is that the federal government has become so powerful over the people that it leaks “intelligence” to the press in order to pressure Congress to hold certain votes, protect its own power to spy on its citizens, and maintain power and protect its citizens. “It is his own job security, and most terrifying of all, it has become a weapon to crush his political enemies.”
“All of this I'm telling you did not come from SCIF, as you already know, and I'm counting on you to help me stop the greatest threat to our national security, the insider threat,” Greene told her followers. “.
Critics have suggested that Biden's mishandling of the border crisis was intentional and a way to appeal to Democratic voters so he and his party could cling to power.
