In January of last year, Fox News analyst Giano Caldwell was having breakfast with friends at a bookstore in Miami, Florida, when he was approached and asked to leave because of his conservative views.
I can't believe what just happened. I met friends for breakfast at Paradis Books and Bread in North Miami, and while we were having discussions about politics, the owner told us we weren't welcome there because we weren't politically aligned. Outrageous.

We reported on this at the time.
Now the bookstore is closing its doors forever.
Red State reported:
I woke up and learned about the collapse: The Miami bookstore that kicked out Fox News magazine is now closing its doors
Look, I'm not automatically inclined to tell my employer how to run their operations. It's their money, and it's their project to manage things as they see fit. If anything, it encouraged this kind of self-reliance. Often, when left-wing activists mandate that a company meet the needs of a particular group or forcefully demand certain levels of inclusion, I have stated that if they feel strongly that this is a viable plan, they should back their ideas with their money and sweat. Stock up and go for it.
Such is the case with a somewhat bohemian business in Miami, Paradis Books, which opened in 2021. This was a bookstore and wine shop that served food and encouraged a collegiate environment with an avowed leftist leaning. Notice the use of the past tense there? That's because the store just announced it will be closing its doors after some internal strife and a particularly turbulent year in business.
The closing company posted this message on its website:
Hello who's there,
Audrey, Brian and Bianca are here. We've made the difficult decision not to reopen Paradise, and this is our way of letting you know why. We have reached the end of the line, and we are finishing this project on our own terms. To our haters, we assume congratulations are in order, so you can go ahead and stop reading now! But, to those who have loved us, supported our many changes, laughed with us, danced with us, and perhaps even cried with us, we wanted to offer you this parting explanation, as well as our deepest thanks.
This video is from last year right after the accident:
Companies that do things like this deserve to fail.
