Rain moves in on Friday and could mean a breezy, cloudy, rainy and chilly day for Saturday according to the New Orleans weather forecast. Clouds will keep temperatures high tonight with morning lows in the 50s for everyone. Here is the best time for rain to fall on Friday. We'll wake up to overcast skies with the first rain showers delayed until later in the day. Rain is likely during the afternoon, most likely by Friday night. High temperatures on Friday will be in the mid 60s, but once more consistent rain begins to fall, temperatures will drop back to near 60 degrees and into the upper 50s. Rain will begin to subside during Saturday from north to south. Highs will be set for Saturday around midnight, but daytime temperatures will be much cooler…in the upper 40s to lower 50s! Oh, yeah…and it will be even colder with north winds of 15-25 mph. Here's a breakdown of precipitation on the North Shore. I think most of the rain will fall Friday evening and Friday night, leaving skies more cloudy on Saturday. This is the most likely forecast at the moment, but there is some other data that suggests more rain will continue into Saturday as well. So be sure to keep up with the rain forecast for Saturday! Expect more rain on the South Shore. Some higher totals will be found along the coast with up to 1 inch of rain possible from Friday night through Saturday afternoon. There should be plenty of sun on Sunday, but it will still be breezy and cool with highs only in the upper 50s. Next week looks great! Highs will rise to the mid 60s and mid 70s by the end of the week. The next front and chance of rain will move in by Thursday/Friday. Here's the 7-day forecast: Stay warm and dry Thursday/Friday Saturday! – Devon
