Joe Biden lied about Robert Hoare bringing up the issue with his deceased son Beau, according to a damaging leak to NBC News.
Special Counsel Robert Hoare last week released a 345-page report on his investigation into the stolen classified documents.
Biden's stolen secret documents were scattered everywhere in damaged cardboard boxes and unlocked drawers. The documents were easily accessible in Biden's garage in Delaware and in the basement.
Robert Hoare found that Joe Biden “intentionally kept” secret information, but decided not to charge him. Hoare said there was evidence that Biden kept secret notebooks, “knowing that he was not allowed to.”
The Justice Department defended not bringing charges against Biden because “A sympathetic, well-meaning old man with a poor memory“.
We also considered it likely that Mr. Biden would present himself during the trial to a jury, as he did during our interview with him A sympathetic, well-meaning old man with a poor memory. Based on our direct interactions with him and our observations of him, he is someone many jurors will want to assign reasonable doubt to. It would be difficult to convince a jury that he – then a former president in his 80s – should be convicted of a serious felony requiring a mental state of premeditation. According to the report that Hoare reviewed Critic portal.
Biden had forgotten when he was vice president, and he also didn't remember when his son Beau died.
Joe Biden attacked Robert Hoare during an impromptu news conference last week.
“There's even a reference. I don't remember when my son died. How the hell dare he bring that up?” Biden told reporters at an impromptu White House news conference. “Honestly, when I was asked that question, I thought to myself, ‘It’s none of their damned business.’”

It was all a lie. This never happened!
Biden raised the issue with his deceased son, Beau, and was unable to correctly remember the year he died, according to what was leaked to NBC News.
Joe Biden's son Beau died of brain cancer at Walter Reed in Bethesda, Maryland, in 2015.
NBC News reported:
President Joe Biden criticized Robert Hoare last week over one specific line in the special counsel's report on his handling of classified documents: that Biden “did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died.”
“How the hell dare he raise that?” Biden told reporters at an impromptu White House news conference. “Honestly, when I was asked that question, I thought to myself, ‘It’s none of their damned business.’”
But Hoare never asked that question, according to two people familiar with Hoare's five-hour interview with the president over two days last October. They said it was the president, not Hoare or his team, who first announced Beau Biden's death.
The sources said Biden brought up his son's death after asking about his work at a rented home in Virginia from 2016 to 2018, when a ghost writer was helping him write a memoir about losing Beau to brain cancer in 2015. Investigators had a 2017 recording showing him saying The report says Biden told the ghost writer that he found “secret items” in that house.
Biden began trying to remember that period by discussing what was happening in his life, and at that point in the interview he seemed confused about when Beau died, the sources said. Biden got the date right — May 30 — but not the year.
Jill Biden also attacked Robert Hoare in a shameful statement in which she cited Beau's name.
Additionally, the Biden campaign sent out a fundraising email in an attempt to capitalize on Beau Biden's lie.
Biden has no shame!
NEW: A fundraising email sent to Biden this morning attempts to capitalize on the special counsel's report, specifically his reference to Beau Biden. In the email, Jill Biden refers to herself as “Beau's mother.”
